The Class of 2015 Graduation Ceremony will take place on June 19, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. in the Stadium (NEHS Gym if inclement weather). Students are to report to the New Egypt High School gymnasium by 5:30 PM with their caps and gowns. There will be four (4) tickets (per family) issued to students after graduation practice on June 19th for admission to the gym if inclement weather. Every person must have a ticket. All children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult and must have a ticket. If you do not plan to use all four tickets, we ask that you return them to Mrs. Rosiak in the main office. Parking is available in all the school lots. If anyone in your party will require wheelchair accessibility and/or special seating, please call Mrs. Rosiak by June 12th, so we can reserve the space needed.
At New Egypt High School we are taking a different approach. We are returning to the ideal that the ultimate goal of summer reading is to turn young people on to the joys of reading so that while they are, in fact, pre-empting the onset of the dreaded summer reading gap, they are doing something far more valuable: laying the foundation for becoming life-long readers.
The students, parents, and staff at New Egypt High School have selected Mr. Tom Corby as the 2015 Teacher of the Year. Mr. Corby, who teaches Social Studies, is in his 15th year of service in the Plumsted Township School district. He is the first two-time winner of the award, having been previously honored in 2007. All members of the New Egypt High School educational community extend an enthusiastic congratulations to this highly accomplished educator. Congratulations, Mr. Corby.

Student Surveys Posted on Each School Website
The Plumsted Township School District Board of Education adopted a goal to survey K-12 students to assess climate in their schools. We want to know what students think about their schools.
The surveys can be found on each of the school websites.
If your child is in grades K-5, we are asking you to assist your child while completing the Student Survey.
