Mr. Mendes, Principal of New Egypt High School
With this award, Gino received a $1,000 scholarship, and his name is forever entered into the College Football Hall of Fame. Gino was a 3 year starter, senior captain, Most Valuable Player and 2 time All-Division player during his Warrior football career.
As of last night Faith Weber has surpassed 1,000 rebounds for her career. She is the first Girl's basketball player to have over both 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds and only the second player in school history to achieve the milestone. With her 21 points last night she also moves to second place on the All Time scoring list. Please congratulate her when you get the chance.
Samantha graduated from New Egypt in 2008. She completed her Undergraduate degree at Savannah College of Art and Design. At SCAD she was able to tailor her Art program to meet the requirements for Johns Hopkins University. Currently Samantha is working in Belgium as an Anaplastologist where she meets with patients making ear, nose, eye and finger prosthetics. Read more about her by clicking the headline link above.
Colin is now a student at The College of New Jersey studying Political Science. Currently he is completing his internship at Senator Rand Paul’s office in Washington DC. In 2012 Colin completed an internship at Senator Sam Thompson’s office. Click the headline link above to read more about Colin.

Notice of Meeting
The Plumsted Township Board of Education will hold a Special meeting on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 for the purpose of discussing personnel and conducting a public hearing on the 2016-2017 budget. The meeting will be held at the New Egypt High School IMC, 117 Evergreen Road, New Egypt, NJ 08533, and will convene at 6:00 p.m. for executive session and 7:30 p.m. for public session.
Action will be taken.

Nominations Needed for Friend of Education Award
The Board of Education is seeking input from the Plumsted Township Community on nominations for the Friend of Education Award. Below are examples of the criteria for this award:
• Community member or someone directly involved with the Plumsted Township School District
• Someone who has served on various school committees
• Past Board of Education Member
• Business Owner in the community
• Someone who has shown exemplary support for education

“Shine your Smile Day” is coming!
The Plumsted Township School District is pleased to offer dental services for our students through the Smile Program. The Smile Program will come totally equipped to each school and provide dental examinations, cleanings, fluoride treatments, x-rays and sealants. No child will ever be turned away because of financial need. Please fill out the required Smile Program application and Board of Education waiver given out in school and return it to your child’s school as soon as possible.
