Principal, New Egypt High School
Mr. Michael Mendes
Mr. Mendes has been in education since 2002 where he began as a Business Education teacher at NEHS. In 2009, he was fortunate enough to become the Assistant Principal at New Egypt High School where he learned valuable lessons on how to be an instructional leader. In the fall of 2010, he moved on to Wall Township High School as the Assistant Principal. While at Wall, he was part of a team that transitioned the High School to the alternating A/B block schedule. This transition was part of the reason the High School was able to become one of the top 100 high schools in New Jersey. Mr. Mendes is thrilled to bring his experiences back to help improve upon New Egypt High School.
